Savings for Family

If i wanted to open a savings account for my niece and nephew, would i have to have some form of their ID? i'm not sure what i would need to do, so if anyone knows about this or knows a good interest rate savings account, please comment.

    you might be better opening a trust fund where they cant access it till a specified age. I didnt need my kids ID to open his trust fund, but that might be because i had the voucher, its worth checking.

    The Britannia has really good interest rates

    child trust fund voucher. every child born now gets a £250 voucher, or £500 if the family is on a low income
