Good MP3 Player that aint an ipod ??

Trying to find a decent MP3 player with 4GB memory that aint an ipod as I can't afford them :(

Not looking for anything too glam, just so long as its at least 4GB an has a screen for me to be able to view all my tracks.

At the moment, I have a cheap shuffle one.

I seen this and thought it was a bargain:

Getting it for £40.00 but on Play and Amazon, it's worth round £100.

Oooor is it just too good to be true and should be wary of this??

    according to amazon it reads SDHC cards too, i have a 16gig one of those, so happy days for my player, i just hope that when i shove it in, it reads both internal and card memory, rather than just one or the other.

    I got a 4GB Creative Zen Mosaic recently. The disc player was starting to bug out.

    Very nice device, although small.

    I know you've said you don't want an iPod because of the price.

    But now might be the best time to get one, it is rumored that a Apple update along most of there product lines is happening around the 9th September. And that apple is not producing any of the current Ipods/macbooks/screens.

    Find a reseller that will do a good price ;D

    My girlfriend has a Sandisk Sansa and loves it!
    It's extremely intuitive like the ipod, looks funky and has a whole tonne of accessories for it.

    The sound quality is great, and it has a radio. It connects to a car stereo fantastically and is easy to configure.
    The screen is clear and you can't go far wrong with it!

    sorry to high-jack your thread, but I'm looking to get a new mp3 player aswell, hopefully something creative as opposed to iShite, but I need something that's ATLEAST 20gig, my music collection comes in at atleast 12gig and I'd like some space to expand that.

    Any suggestions would be lovely ;D
