Hello

I was wondering If I was to cook some rice, is it ok to freeze it and reheat it at a later date?

Every website i've looked on seems to say something different and I need a definitive answer so I dont poisen myself!

Yes, but freeze it as soon as you can after it's been cooked, and gone cold.

I cook up loads every couple of months, as soon as its cooked rinse it with loads of cold water (to get rid of the nasty starch) and then bag into meal sized portions. Put straight in the freezer then defrost when needed.
