  CoolMe, it's well worth redoing Maths, having an A*-C pass in GCSE Maths ticks so many boxes on future applications.

  Yeah been discussing maths all day long - it's driving me crazy!
  
  I'm going to have to re-do it, but the school won't do it because i got an E in maths and have to privately tutor so I've got some plans and spoken to some teachers.

  CoolMe - you might be able to Application of Number, which is Key Skills instead? Many universities accept this instead of GCSE.

  All I know is that I'm going to be publicy sitting the exam at my school, but regards tutoring I've gotta do it off my own back!
  
  One teacher said she has a friend in a local uni who does tutoring which the school would fund and I would go to the uni / they come here.
