The french guy I fell in love with and I have spoken on the phone numerous times since my last thread
( http://vbulletin.thesite.org.uk/showthread.php?t=129122 )
And he said he loved me (:D ) and that he wants to come to bombay next summer. I'm going to france in october in that case (probably). But in the meantime, how do I keep myself occupied? I'm really lonely, and I miss him so much.
I can't focus on anything... I just go out constantly too keep my mind off him, and it's really nonproductive. We speak almost every day, and I pretty much live for those phonecalls now.
Also, how do I know it's love? I can't describe what I feel... but god, I've never felt like this before, so how the hell do I know what it is?

Ok I could be wrong saying this but your feelings are a sign of acute loneliness, added onto your badly missing this French guy. Maybe then you should not be looking so inwardly but going out somewhere with friends that you know in your town. By socialising with friends you'll get not to feel bad about missing him. Come on - there's always more than one good guy around. Open your eyes and see. I have plenty of friends back in Kalymnos where I used to live but in the last 3 weeks or so since I'm newly arrived to England I've made 2 good friends in my neighbourhood and they are great fun to be with. :)

Long distance relationships are a strain. Only you will know if yours is going to continue, but your saying you are "pretty much living for those phonecalls now" is not a healthy aspect at all. For what would happen if he dumped you? Don't put everything into meeting this guy again. I'm sorry to sound cynical, I'm not. You need to broaden your horizons.

I would say go and be with people you know in your township, and stick with them. Because otherwise you are putting too much at stake with this guy, for anything could change between now and October.

    Same here.

When i met my man from Ireland that's exactly how i felt. Living for the phonecall's and visit's and in the mean time i spent time with my mates and my work helped me take my mind off how much i missed him and such like. If you's both want it to work bad enough, it will happen but it's not easy and takes alot of working at.

Good luck and i hope it all work's out for you guy's

    *hugs*

I think that it is brilliant that you and this french guy love each other.

If you are missing him, then try writing down the things you like about each other.

Or make a poem that you both like about each other, then everytime you think about him, just read the poem. (like wedding couples have a song)

    Worked for someone I know
