I get £10 off my grandma every Sunday :D

:crazyeyes OMG! THAT'S LOADS!!! Did you spend it all or save some?

I didn't get anything. :( Only money I ever got was at Christmas or Birthdays. Parents would buy me stuff I needed and the occasional treat if I was good and they could afford it.

The same with Budda (minus the cigs!). We all did our bit to help with house chores, and we had pocket money too. My job was to empty the dishwasher daily, then occasionally do vacuuming and polishing.

Weekly pocket money was as follows:

    Age 13 (1991), £1.50
    Age 15 (1993), £2.50
    Age 16 (1994), £3.50
    Age 17 (1995), £5.00
    Age 19 (1997), still £5.00 but I worked 6 hours a week too at a shop
Age 20 (1998), went to uni.

Nope never got any. Used to get the odd tenner off my grandparents a few times a year but nothing else. I do stuff round the house now but I don't get paid for it, I don't expect to either.

I stopped getting pocket money when I was about 12.

I remember I used to charge my family to make them cups of tea.

They were not impressed when I raised my rates from 10p to £2.50.

Business is business, mum. Now money in the tin.

I got £20 a week pocket money at one point. I think this was when my parents were earning a lot at work

I stopped getting pocket money when I was 16 I think.

I can't remember how much I used to get when I was little, but when I was about 12 we used to get £100 a month from my dad. Although that was split into three different accounts (one do-not-touch savings (£50), one normal savings (£25), and a current account (£25)).

Now we get £50 a week from my dad, but atm that's going into my NatWest account and Rich forced me to give up my card because I'm so far into my overdraft :(.
