French Manicure Pens

Ok, so I can do a shabby job of my own french manicure with the nail polishes but this product caught my eye in a glossy mag the other day . . .

But it seems a tad expensive at 30 quid. If it's good I will pay 30 quid for it but just wondering if anyone had used this product, or a similar cheaper version or whatever? And what they reckoned?

I'd love one but theres no way I'd pay £30! If anyone knows of a cheaper version let me know please!

i have used something sort of similar and it chips off very easily, even with polish over the top. i havent used this one though so maybe someone else knows better than me.

have you tried the ones that are similar to white eyeliner which you put under your nail? i quite like that, although it doesnt last for long

edit: you can get plastic sticky things that are half moons and paint over yourself with white nail polish and then when dry paint over full nail with pink. It would be a fraction of the cost but as i said before chips off easily and has to be upkept everyday

Havent used either of them. Sounds like a good idea to me though.

that one. The thing that puts me off that is the reviews make it sound like it's got the brush end as opposed to the felt tip pen end that the Yves Saint Laurel one appears to have.

I may put it on my wanted birthday list! Should have got it in duty free shouldn't I! Never mind!

Well I read this post earlier, I just got back from asda and I happened to see one of these, i can't remember the make - maybe nailene. Anyway they do them for £1.99...

I've seen them before and I really like the idea but I figure if I can't do it with a brush, the likleyhood I can do it with a pen is slim to none.

Not to drag anything up or owt BUT

the wonderful boyfriend bought me the Yves Saint Laurent set and I can say they are absolutley fab. Worth 30 quid I think.
