I can't believe how much stuff people have hanging on their keys, especially car keys. Out of my two key fobs, one I have because I like it (a metal bow thing), the other (light) is purely functional because it gets quite dark in the car parking areas outside my flat and I need to be able to see the lock on my door without scratching the paint around my car keyhole. My approach to keys is clearly not girly enough!

Indeed, and not something I plan on changing either!

Also, to be very girly - if I go out with a small handbag for the evening, how would I fit all that sort of crap in there with my keys?

    I've got:
    House key
    Mum's house key
    Dad's house key
    Car key
    Work pedestal key
    Tiny suitcase key
    And four key rings:
One with an explanation of my name which my dad bought me
One with a photo of me and my family on one side and on the other side a photo of my cats (Mum made it for me)
    One Brecon Jazz 2006 one
One trashy Benidorm one with a flamenco dancer with fabric skirt in it (present from my housemate).

The key rings do bug me now and again, but if I'm ever going out with a small bag, I just take off my house key and one key ring for the night.

    I have:
    Front door key
    Back door key
Old garage key (no idea why)
    Keyrings:
Me and OH on London Eye photo
One saying 'Erotic, Exotic and a little Psychotic'
A Macmillan cancer relief token for trolleys (as I never have pound coins on me!)
Tesco clubcard (which I never use)

I do, stops me from losing them

And it also is easier to then find them in a large bag which is stuffed full of crap!

I hate too much stuff on keys. I however split up my keys.

My car keys plus a Honda metal badge thing.

One set of house key, bike key and the bike shack at work.
Attatched to that is a very small metal penguin and a small key I've not bothered removing since College.

Then I've got one key for the stables plus a metal horse jumping on it.
And last a silver M for my locker at work, but I never remove the locker key so it doesn't really count.

That way I take the keys I need and leave the rest. Car + home keys, always leave the home keys in the car and carry the car keys on me when out and about. When biking I just take the home keys and leave the car keys.

I don't have one single key. We lock the back door and put the key on the ledge. And I don't drive. How sad is that :(

You need one of these. My sister is always fogetting her keys so we have something very similar to this on the side of our house (cannot see it from road) but ours is a punch keypad.

 at the end of a night out when I can barely see it helps to have loads of things on my keys for when I'm rumaging around in my bag helps me find them quicker.

And then you spend hours looking for the actual key amongst all the other crap :p
