I had very similar sounding symptoms except I had a catalogue of joint/tendon/muscle injuries like sprains and dislocations.
I saw a Rheumatologist and was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome type III which is also known as Joint Hyper Mobility Syndrome. Basically, it's a genetic connective tissue disorder which causes pain in joints, fatigue, multiple injuries due to flexibility of tendons etc etc.

Are you particularly flexible? can you stand up, bed over and put your palms flat on the floor without bending your knees?

have you got IBS as well?

I've had joint pain since i was 14, and the only thing that makes it better is gentle stretching. try yoga, and maybe some swimming

Tbh there are a massive range of joint disorders, and your problems could be any (or none) of them. Your best best is a Rheumatolgist, which you have already got sorted.

May not be simple, though. I have had a similar problem for the last 4 years (plus other fun systemic features) and the doctors and consultants have come up with... absolutely nowt. Not a sausage.
