    I think as long as it's not interfereing with your other job it's worth applying for!
    Will you keep the weekend job on when you go back to college after summer?

    It's not greedy to want to work full-time hours. Apply if you want both jobs.

    With regards to moving departments, if you keep an eye out for vacancies on the department you want to work on then when one comes up, you should apply and see what happens. There shouldn't be a problem if you show that you would be more suitable working there rather than in the food section.
