    I'm a student here so live here a fair amount of the time!

    It's not a bad place, although it is far far smaller than it's status as a city would imply. The city centre is all completely pedestrianised and getting a car round most of it is a complete nightmare. It is however, as I'm sure you well know, very well set up for cycling and I would personnally say a bike is a must. That said, there's a slight bike theft problem, so don't bring a swanky one.

    I like cambridge, not been for a while but there's loads of stuff going on considering howw small it is. All the damn cyclists can be a bit annoying though ;)
