ipod: shuffle vs nano

I want to buy a new mp3 as my phones a bit crap for playing music on. I can't decide between the ipod shuffle or the nano. The nano has the bigger appeal because it can play videos etc but it costs quite a bit more and I'm wondering if I'll ever actually use the screen.

what do people recommend? Do people with nanos ever actually use the screen?

    I'd personally go nano ...
    but then ..... i'd use the screen.

    I'd recommend either for audio quality, both are fantastic with proper headphones.

    Go on your budget really, and capacity.

    Go with the nano, it's always nice to see the song and album art work :)

    I'd go for the nano too, I love mine.

    I have both but only because I had the shuffle first and then lost it (its so easy to lose because its small and I'm a messy person). I ended up buying a nano to replace it and then found my shuffle a few days later. :rolleyes:
