I've seen badly trained monkey's design better websites than that. It sucks and quite frankly, I'm surprised geocities allow such a flagrant misuse of server space. Thank god they only give you what...5MB? Too much whatever it is.

I'm with turtle here. The site is poorly structured, appears to serve no purpose and has very little introduction to tell you what it is for.

God, you lot are harsh sometimes. If mingo is only doing her site for fun (which I presume) and not a multi million dollar business, then it doesn't really matter if it's not perfect does it? The joy of the net is that you can do what you like!!

I think it's an ok site, considering the author is:
1)14
2)Female
3)Only doing it to show off pictures an stuff.

With KT on this one. Mingo's site isn't half bad for someone so young. She's having a go at something and should be encouraged. As KT said, the 'Net should be a fun place for everyone and it looks as though Mingo had fun with hers. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Personally I thought the original poster's site was crap,there was nothing of interest there at all.K_T's site was educational and held my interest,and didnt have me screaming for less graphics!
I'm attempting to build my own site too at the moment,lol when it's finished I may let you all tear it apart

Ok well in my opinion, it has alot of javascripts used. Which are so overused these days, like the text floating with the cursor! The flashing background is not to easy on the eyes, and everything is all squashed up into one corner.

However what I would do if that was my webpage, is maybe have 2 or 3 websafe colors, set things out in tables instead of just letting it float about. And using a still background! There are more things you could do to make it look a hell of alot better, but this should do to set you off in the right direction. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> Hmm anyway if you need any help, I'm kinda bored so I don't mind helping anyone out desiging webpages! <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Mingo's site - incosistant. Alright in places but erm... not... in others. I would recommend putting less on a page - it took quite a long time to download everythin on a 56k connection.

KT site - Quality <IMG SRC="cool.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">.

You can all look at the one in my sig. I didn't design it etc but do a bit of reviewing games etc for it. I know theres a lot of pup-ups etc and we're in the process of getting a domain name and unangelfire webspce.

I'm sorry, but on her photos page she says 'let me know if you think people are ugly or good looking'!! Thats not very mature or nice is it!!! Also, there are only pictures of her friends and family, why would she want to knw if they're ugly or not. <IMG SRC="rolleyes.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

I know I have replied to this before but - is this topic still carrying on??? You asked for our opinions, wether or not you decide to act upon them is your choice!!

But have you ever heard of layouts or consitency?? It's all over the place! And the background <IMG SRC="eek.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> Ahh my eyes!!!

And if that was my site, I'd scrap the Java-script text floaty thing, it just gets in the way and looks <IMG SRC="confused.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Personally (I know some people are probably gonna have a go at me here but it's only my opinion) It sucks!!! Try and play around with tables, and place everything which is consistent with the other pages, and less of the GRAPHICS!!!

Other than that <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> Keep practicing and you'll soon get better!!
