but there's another way that u can set the history "tab bar" to NOT show previous sites uve been to whenever you sign on (ie. the tab bar would be clean each time u sign on).

Why not just set the ' days to keep pages in history' part to 0 days ??

There's probably a way to do it using the regisrty though <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">

    Visit Alzaweb: www.alza.co.uk

Actually, you cant COMPLETELY delete things from your computer, it is always stored in your freespace when deleted from recycle bin. This stored stuff is quite easily recovered too. To clear your freespace and history PERMANENTLY you have to use a program like Evidence Eliminator or Cyberscrub, available from download.com or Tucows. Hope that helps.

There is also a programme called Norton Cleansweep that I have seen in software stores. It also deletes unwanted files from your hard disk that have been put there while browsing the internet.

<lol> so people reinstall windows for no apparent reason when they have DELETED .dll and system files by mistake when uninstalling programs? puh-lease

if you could never permanently delete things from your computer, it would get bogged down with a whole load of shite

freespace? got a location for this? or does it just float around in your hard drive?
