I have just watched poss the best film ever!!!!!! I have never cried so much in my short little life. Castaway poss the best film I have ever seen.

    Not as good as Titanic though. I love all the romantic slushy bits.

    Must agree with Shawshank Redemption its a very good film!!
    An old favorite of mine is The Outsiders. Anybody else seen it?? Its got a great cast Rob Lowe, Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, bloke who played Karate Kid and some others who I can't remember but it must of been one of their first films cause they are all about 18 in it.

    I haven't actually seen Castaway, but from the trailers ect, I doubt it would beat Shawashank.
    Leon is also a damn fine film.....

    I certainly do have good taste and I agree Shawshank is a top film. The thing was i'd just finished watching the film last nite when I made the post so was still a bit emotional. Ah well Tom Hanks is cool anyway.

    are you bloody mad or something?! titanic has to be one of the worst films ever made. shit plot, shit cast, and how the f*ck did it win so many awards?

    actually, perhaps that leaves me in a minority....

    best film ever: Citizen Kane. can't fault it.

    Call me wierd but my fave film of all time is Aliens (Alien 2) In my view on of the best sci fi films ever <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;
    Oh, and of COURSE the Lion King 1 heh heh

    Have a guess dude. I'll give u one clue: YES I AM MESSIN ABOUT. But I DID see the film in the cinema more times than any other..a grand total of 6 times! Anyone seen a film more times than that?

    I love the Outsiders. I cried the first time I saw it. Have you read the book? It's great, as well.
    As for Castaway, it was a good film, and I understand artistic integrity, but I think it would have been better if the director shaved about thirty minutes off of it.
    And Titanic did suck. Let's market off of a horrible tragedy!! What a great way to make money (In case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic in the last lines).

    No I've not read the book. Maybe I shall have to hunt it down. I also cried when I first saw the film. But then I always do when people die and stuff I'm a bit of a poof like that. And if an animal dies thats it I'm hysterical!!!
