Limewire

Anybody been having any problems with limewire?a couple of days ago I updated to limewire 4.16.6 and since then The status of my downloads say that they all have hosts and appear to be downloading BUT the % isn't moving,well they get to a certain point then freeze or go backwards,this only happins with movies thou,ive tried deleting limewire then downloading it again but same shit.anyways any help would be appreciated.

    Limewire is shit. It's been plagued by these kinds of problems for the past two years (as well as mp3's with 'screeching' being released to render anyone's download's unlistenable, and those 'virus' files that are 346kb (or whatever) in size).

    Really, use something else. Especially for movies.

    So what would you recommened to use to download movies mostly?

    Torrent websites, with uTorrent being your prgoram of choice. BitTorrent/BitComet are both shite and send bad packets, and Azureus is far too much of a drain on system resources. uTorrent is perfect.

    You cant beat using Newsgroups really... but it can be a bit of a head fuck to get started with it all.

    As people have said torrents are your best bet.

    If you download opera, it downloads torrents just like normal downloads, to wherever you normally save stuff. It's pretty clever like that.

    i use utorrent also, find it the best for torrents. try and get on a members only torrent site as well if you can. the world is your pirate oyster then
