just watched it in channel 4... i thought it was kinda weird, hard to explain... julia robert's character was just really manipulative and devious and it was just a really odd film i thought.

anyone else seen it? what do you think?

    It thought it was quite good, but the bit where Julia and Camaran(?) came out of the lift and everyone was going,
    "Here's the bride and the woman she'll never live up to"
    was a bit weird. I thought it was a dream sequence.

    i love that film! i have it on vid.
    esp the beginnin with them dancin, is so funny. but i agree he shud have got back with julia.
    i also love the ending though, and her bridesmaid dress!

    I taped it and watched it last night and I thought it was crap! It dragged on for aaaaaages and she didnt even end up with him!

    But I agree with Helly, that bridesmaids dress was really nice and I'm gonna mention it to my sister whos getting married...hehe

    I watched it too and it wasn't as good as i was expecting. Also, i was amazed that they didn't end up together as usually happens in those kinds of films! I did enjoy it though-the singing bit at the meal was great!! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt; "I say a little prayer for you..." hehe Sorry...got a bit carried away there!

    I like it well for the most part
    the endeing sucked I cried when the guy married the other girl (but I cry at alot of movies so..) the movie was ok in my book but I got the soundtrack a while ago and I love it I love all those old sappy love songs

    yeah i love the dress too!! when i was a bridesmaid i had this huge peach thing!! when my dad's got the scanner hooked up ill scan you a pic sometime lol... (okay so i WAS 8, but still!)

    i need to get a dress for my leavers ball, a formal evening gown type thing, and theres one in a shop in town thats a similiar colour to julia's. which i like. hehe!

    When I watched it about a year ago I didn't like it too much but I thought the ending was good. I've never seen a film before where it didn't work out for the heroine, and in real life that's what often happens.

    I'd have to say I found it really funny, tho I am going through my 'chick flick' movie stage at the moment and I thought it was quite good...
