Hey every!

I was just wondering how many of u out there like Dido? I think she's fab, hav u ever listened to her lyrics - they're just the best!

    I think she has a great voice but I think it sucks that she teamed up with the sexist and homophobic Eminem.

    i thought it was pretty funny personally i like some of eminem's songs (Bonnie and Clide) just because there arn't then same as every other rap song i have ever heard but i do think she way to good to have teamed up with him but it did make her more popular

    agreed kitty. but while i may not like eminem's music as a whole, i do think that "stan" worked best the way it was recorded and that is pretty brillant for em to pick that song as the sample. his rhymes and her vocals are perfect together.

    that was pretty much proven when elton opened his mouth and belted out a horrible rendition of it. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/tongue.gif"&gt;

    I think that elton john was trying to send a message of openness, and acceptance, baically saying that eminem may have some pretty disrespectful and bigoted views, but other than that he can be a good guy, and musically great... which was a good idea in theory, but i don't think it really changed em's mind on anything and it didn't calm the gay rights activists down any... so for the music business it was good, for politics it was bad.

    Same goes for Dido... good for business, bad for politics. She, however, wasn't trying to do anything but make herself more popular by hanging on to em's success, whereas elton john was being more selfless (he couldn't get more popular if he tried!) it was a clever thing to do financially but it brings her down in my books.
