There were two less smarties in my tube than the one i bought the other day!
Should i phone the old bill?

    You actually count how many Smarties there are in each pack? :p

    Though I do notice there seem to be fewer Maltesers in each pack now. Bastards.

    What it realy is ...i have a five year old staying and we use smarties as edible money when playing cards ...he was convinced i was cheating when i counted them out!

    According to Wikipedia - "In 2006, it was announced that Nestlé were removing all artificial colourings from Smarties in the UK, owing to consumer concerns over the effect of chemical dyes on children's health. Nestlé decided to replace all chemical dyes with natural ones, but as they were unable to source a natural blue dye, the blue Smarties were removed from circulation... white Smarties were introduced in their place. Blue Smarties were re-introduced in the UK in February 2008, using a natural blue dye derived from the seaweed spirulina."
