Was anyone else disappointed by Eastenders?

I was so looking forward to tonights episode, but I can't help feeling disappointed. They built it up sooooooo much, that I was expecting a major twist, but it didn't come!!!! Was anyone else on my wavelength, or am I an odd one out???????

People who don't like Cats were probably Mice in an earlier life!!!!

    What did you expect though? It to turn out to be Dan who is infact Arthur Fowler who has slept with Peggy who is a bloke at the weekends and is engaged to Mark?

    The idea of the programme was to reveal who shot him, with the main suspects being shown before hand.

    I just expected a bit more suspense and surprise after all the hype!

    all soaps are crap. neighbours n home n away give my home a bad name!! grrr...i'll kill hte peeps that invented them!!

    yeah i know what you mean daisy, i walked in when it was on and on the way to rushing out the room (taped it!) i saw phil with lisa, and i thought, oh, thats it then... but then i thuoght, well its only just started so maybe its NOT her... then i watched it and i thuoght ah maybe hes just foooling her and it'll be someone else or something.. a load of people in school said the same, it was quite boring considering all theyd built it up to be <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt;

    i thought it was so disapointing...
    it was definately a blokes footsteps who ran away and now they are trying to pass it off as Ian running away....yeah right. they need new storyline writers.

    Most people would have taken bets thinking who would have SHOT him, not get convicted.

    But look on the bright side, they did keep the supspence goin, after all the tabloids didnt get a hold of it. I read 3 different papers on thursday with so called exclusives, none of them got it right.
