    Hello BA long time ...
    Opium is an excellent relaxant aznd obviously pain killer ...it also allows old people to dream once again. it also aids control of incontinance and sleeplesness. it curbs agression and apetite. In fact when you look at the qualities of opium in an open minded and seriou way, it almost seems as if the stuff was put there just for old peeps.

    I've just been thinking about my reply ...i don't think many of you will see it as having any merit whatsoever but ...i'm sure you'll agree that medication plays a huge part.
    If you cannot see any merit in the use of opium then i believe that it is simply because this substance along with others has been demonised in the public imagination.
    Your probably strong on industrial medication?

    Not at all...I can see the use in natural stuff like opium. Although both fields carry dangers.

    Industrial medication? Haven't experienced diazepam for pain relief I can heartily recommend avoiding it..
