Can remember who I was talking to, but someone was saying how they would like Gladiators to come back on TV.

Think it might of been you Lea.

I am not watching unless Hunter is back - but seeing as he is probably old now I doubt he will.

And I am sure Lucky Strike wont watch unless his 'mate' Jet comes back, but see above for reasons of unlikelihood!

Well he is going to be dissapointed....

Unfortunately Jet's Gladiator career came to a sudden end during the 1996 Live Shows in Wembley Arena, London. She was competing on the Pyramid and as she tackled the Contender she fell awkwardly, trapping nerves in her neck. Jet decided it was time to move on as she no longer could put 100% into the show.

Jet now spends more time devoted to counselling young people who are suffering from eating disorders,

10 years later shes turned into a right piece of milf.:D

What's milf ? Cobra had something that you don't get many to pound of these days between his legs. Saw Warrior in town once too. Mate of mine went to one of the shows and said it was the most boring thing he'd ever seen, ran over by about 3 hours and all the sitting about doing nothing while they move the apparatus about.

Its quite possible that that is the weirdest thing I've heard in a while.

I read some article that claimed Gladiators ran until 2000. Is that right?? I only remember it from when I was little, mid-90s maybe. Don't know why I would have stopped watching it, I used to be addicted.

Was anyone else's first crush a Gladiator?

Van Wijk, second wife Paula, and their four children now live in Auckland, New Zealand. According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, he runs "Chipmunks Playground and Cafe", an indoor adventure playground for 3-12 year olds.

He also opened Eastgate in Basildon :hyper:

Damn The Wolf was the best, and he scared me.

I'd definately watch this though somehow I doubt it'll be as good as when I was a kid.

    Jet? :p

I saw her in a panto one year. It was so cheesy! I think it was a Cinderella-type story but the fairy godmother turned her into a gladiator for some reason. Very strange
