For those of you that celebrate Valentines day, what are you all planning on buying for your boyfriend/girlfriend?

Actually haven't a clue what to get my boyfriend its our year anniversary like 3 days after, too! Got a feeling its going to cost me a small fortune :o

Anyone get anything nice for their anniversary/anniversaries?

Trying to cheer myself up. Terrible day at work! :grump: :grump:

    Nothing.

I'm not even seeing him that week or even the weekend since he's going to visit his mum for her 60th birthday (I thought that was slightly more important, even if it does make me a bit miserable).

Neither of us have enough money to buy anything for Valentine's. I'm gonna bake him cookies instead when he comes here the weekend before.

we'll probably just go for a meal out on the 13th , and maybe buy a little small token gift if either of us see something the other would like

i'm going to be oh-so-romantic and buy him some credit for his phone, whether he likes it or not :D this mainly benefits me because he can never text back or ring me and it bugs me sometimes! and hes jobless and skint so he can't buy any himself...

dont really believe in the whole valentines thingy, but i told him to get me some 10p flowers from asda (when they reduce them at the end of the night haha!) and we'll probably spend it together, doing something. or other.

He will be home alone on Valentine's Day (and the days surrounding it) so I have written a poem for and about him which I'll post before we leave. I'll probably stock the fridge with all his favourite things, too, so he won't have to fend for himself while we're away. That depends on how much I like him on Feb 12th

If I were going to be home on the "big" day then his present would be 30 viagra and a cowboy hat. What can I say? I'm a traditionalist.

Haha, I like it. My boyfriend never actually has credit either. Brilliant idea :thumb: But he just got a new job, so hopefully no excuses now for being creditless... we shall see..

Just realised we probably wont even see each other on Valentines day, if we do it will be really late when he finishes work :( damn..

I'm just intrigued to what he'll get me... aha! Need to get my thinking cap on. Never had to buy for valentines day before. Uh oh.
