A mooncup Question....

this might be in the wrong place.

How long can you keep the same mooncup for before it needs replacing? i vaguely remember reading somewhere you should replace it after three years, but can't find anywhere that says that now.

thank you

I thought it was forever, unless it wears out then you can get a free replacement

i thought it was supposed to be about 4 or 5 years, but theres no rules. If it still works then keep on using it.
i threw mine away after about 4 years but only because i hadnt used it for months and months with being pregnant, and then when i found it the little cotton bag had mould on it from being stored in a damp cupboard so i threw the whole lot away even though i didnt need to. i could have just sterilised it, but ill just treat myself to a new one after the baby is born.
I cant actually imagine one wearing out though
