I have one of these tomorrow, just doing some prep work now. Anybody got any tips, things to watch out for etc?

Don't spend too much time on the book. Usually there's no extra time factored in for reading the book, and page searching doesn't get you any marks.

are you allowed to mark your book? what I would do is use a diff coloured pen for each 'theme' that you might need and go through the book and either underline sections or quotes you'll want or scribble a note in the margin, or whatever.

I'd make sure you know the book from back to front or feel pretty confident with it so that when you are asked a question in the exam you don't spend 10 minutes looking for a quote in the text. You want to be able to find the quote as quickly as you can so try and remember which sections contain what information.
