Nothing is inherenly wrong, fuck off with your stupid circular pointless argument.

Stalin did alot right. So did Hitler. But both had thier flaws. Mao the same.

Grasp simple concepts, restructure your argument in some manner that MAKES SENSE, and isn't pointless, and then...

    Don't come back.

WTF was this about... besides pointing out something obvious that "right and wrong" and relative concepts. Dear god, I think anyone over 12 realises that.

That and all thank Dearest Comrade Stalin for the glorious triumph of the Soviet People.

    :lol::lol:

Err, who has ever conclusively proven that right and wrong are relative concepts?

Of course there are no moral absolutes. However, if you sucribe to certain philosophies or beliefs then you can "prove" something is wrong in that context.

I mean, if you were a Utilitarian and looked at Stalinism, then, empirically gather the evidence such as the death of 20 million civillians in his tenure, as well as the death of 10 million soldiers and 11 million civillians and the failure of his economic plans; which subsequently lead to economic hardship and death of the peasant classes. Then you can say that the unhappiness caused to them and their families, outweigh the happiness caused by, say the War Effort. Therefore, using an Utilitarian argument, you can say that Stalinism is wrong.

Equally, you can say the same about racism. Such as the unhappiness caused to the millions affected by racism outwieghs the happiness their racist overlords or attackers gained.

Says who? Is it intellectually honest to state something as fact without any substantiation?

Yeah, and a woman can endure a brutal rape under utlitarianism, if it made many people happy. And all sentient life on Earth should be eradicated if negative utilitarianism is true.

If you want an intelligent debate about philosophy, then write something intelligent, not just substandard not-even-GCSE-level bullshit complete with   :) .

It's really not clever, or funny... Fuck, it's not even a riddle.

You're not putting any arguments in at all, just trying to wind people up and prove them to be wrong.

Why would all life forms on earth be eradicated if everyone held a Negative Utilitarian moral stance? You're a lunatic who has no idea what they're talking about. Back to school with you.

Indeed, this does seem an opportune time to suggest that this may be a thread you'll want to avoid feeding...

Just to point out to certain people in public, since a private message seems to have failed, throwing insults along with comments just makes you look like a troll.

Doing after you've been told to stop will confirm you're a troll.

    Perhaps this thread needs locking?

And sigh. It seems someone has discovered, I dread to think how, that different ideas of hte world exist, which challenge commonly held ones!

    OMFGWTFLOLROFLBBQ.

I would like to propose that we all give up on sustaining ourselves, our lives, and the planet, and instead just climb into a giant pair of pants with rockets all over it, sew up the holes when we are inside, and blast into space, to find a new place to live, which would have to be made entirley out of toast. Should thier be life there, we can scratch our own ears constantly until a solution is found by the other lifeforms.
