i recently got sacked and was given payment in lieu, i was also owed 4 days holiday, would it have all been included in the payment in lieu which was £144 or should i get another payment

    Generally I'd expect 1 payment. But there's nothing to say it would have to be one payment.

    You legally have the right to be made any due holiday when you leave a company. Wheter its shown seperatly on your payslip is entirly up to the company but its worth double checking your payroll figures.

    Check your payslip to make sure it is right. It is usually all in one payment but sometimes they try and miss things off.

    Also be aware that payment in lieu of notice counts as income for job seekers allowance.
