Is it possible to convert songs ripped from CDs in wma format at present into mp3s? What program would I use to convert? The ultimate aim is to put songs into itunes, but they need to be mp3 format inorder to be recognised. Thanks for any help!

Certainly is possible. You'll need some conversion software to do this. That can be found for free easily enough. Just go into Google and type "MP3 to WMA converter" and that comes up with a fair number of things. If you only need to do this once, just a trial version of some software might do the job.

It certainly is. dBpowerAMP is the best conversion software, although in future you should use a program like CDex for ripping CD's into mp3's - avoid wma at all costs.
