    I love Father Ted too. They've been showing some repeats on Channel 4 haven't they ? I agree its a shame they can't make any more. My friend has the video so every now and then I borrow it so I don't forget the programme! lol

    Well, they made more taggart after that actor died, why not more ted?

    Making more Ted without Dermott Morgan would be a terrible mistake. Far better to leave it in the glorious limited edition it is now. Remember they only made 12 episodes of Fawlty Towers. You can't mass produce genius. Only The Simpsons has come close to that - but they have the massive advantage that the kids never grow up and no cast members die (although they did lose a couple when Phil Hartman was murdered).

    Also, I don't think Ardal was too keen to make any more, (typecasting and all that).

    I love Father Ted. Its one of the few shows that I really laugh at.
