Intersession tasks and notes at uni... can they be handwritten or does everything have to be typed? I ask because I have no ink :(

    Anything that is to be handed in and assessed should be typed, IMO. Owt that is just for you, I would handwrite them.

    All my assessed reports have to be typed, attached results, notes and calculations may be hand written.

    Our requirements stipulate when things must be typed, if it's not stated then it doesn't matter.

    All my assessed college work HAD to my typed (apart from the in-class assessments) and my notes where handwritten. Badly. :p

    I do all my lecture notes by hand, but I've been told that essay submissions are to be word processed...

    Of course legally they can't force you to hand in typed work.
