Ok, I;ll start then!

1. Anyone like Gash and/or 4ft fingers? Both great bands and really nice people.

2. Anyone going to see Greenday? (I am!)

3. Anyone know who is supporting them at Newcastle Arena? (It isn't No Doubt)

4. Do you think No Doubt sold out? They were once a fecking ska band, now they're trying to do that whole hip hop thing!

Yay! Hooray for Ska and Punk Rock!

Saw Reel Big Fish last thursday, and Capdown and King Prawn are coming to play in my town soon It's all good on the gigging front.

By the way, I might as well post this here now Bumblebee, but have you heard anything by Whitmore or The Big? They were supporting RBF and were really good. The Bigs "Ode to Essex" and "Mobile Phone" songs were quality!

RE: Whitmore, they are a good band too. Quite entertaining, seen them twice I think.

My boyfriends band will remain unnamed because I have an awful suspicion some people I know use this board and will find out about my sexual exploits, lol. They're not famous but they do play around the country n stuff. They played with consumed, if that means anything to anyone!

I used to love No Doubt, but they've kinda evolved in their sound and it's kinda got them 'out there' in the mainstream so they're earning big bucks now. All power to them, I just don't like the new music.

I haven't been to a gig in forever, it's no problem finding someone to go see a metal gig, no one seems to know what ska is.
Wibble.

like I sed, I went to see reel big fish and it was the best fun that I have had for ages, the support band, pinhole (a liverpool band ) also supported OPM when I went to see them too and they were better than the first time.

But like I have sed beofre, i mostly listen to indie and acoustic stuff, very mellow background music but the whole ska and rock thing is great when I am in the mood and up for some fun...

Well, Less Than Jake are playing at the London Forum on June 26. You can get tickets through ticketmaster.co.uk

Should be a blast!

Oh yea, as for RBF, as far as I know they have only had one album released in the UK; Favourite Noise. But they have others on import

Save Ferris are ultra cool, yeah. I saw them last year and met the singer Monique! Which was great.

Yep, only Favourite Noise is available in the UK although larger HMV stores stock the imports, they're quite expensive tho, as in £16 for WDTRSH?

Did anyone watch Bill & Ted last nite? I finally worked out where the ataris got the title for their song 'san dimas high school football rules'...!

Also, is anyone going to Deconstruction? I only want to go to see Midtown n No Use For A Name, but have to work so can't go. I'm hoping they play the Warped Tour stage at Leeds festival.

yeah i definetely want to go to deconstruction. did any go there 2 yrs back when the wood chippings were flying about (you'll know what i mean if you went!)...i had cuts all over me! oh well was pretty good anyway. last year wasnt so good as it was at the docklands which was a too small venue for the amount of people and it was soooo difficult to even go get some water...all because the bloody big brother house was on the original site!

looking forward to see no use for a name especially this year. havent seen them live before. sorry to disappoint anyone but im not sure if i like reel big fish anymore?! seen them a few times but im going off them.

anyone like goldfinger? they're punk not ska. very good though. they have a brilliant album called stomping ground. i'd reccomend it to anyone..and a wicked version of 99 red balloons.

but ska..does anyone like mad caddies? they're one of my favourite bands. and lagwagon? alot of the fat wreck chords bands are pretty good really.
i want to meet fat mike. and on that note, i will end.

Goldfinger rule! I have Hang Up's, the predecessor to Stomping Ground, but I need more of their stuff. And yea, 99 Red Balloons is a great song to rock out to

So many albums to buy... so little money... I hate being poor
