Jobs Asking About Previous Employment

I'm thinking of applying for a temporary Christmas job in Argos. They've asked about previous employment. I've neer been 'employed' by anyone as such. The only 'employment' I've had is a work placement between October 11th 2006 - June 27th 2007. Do I put this down or do I just leave it blank?

    They probably only ask so they can see who's got skill from retail places anyway. Argos as always desperate for seasonal staff too so don't worry about it :)

    Put it down! Especially as you've never been 'employed', all experience is going to go in your favour. If I hadn't had a 'proper' job before Iw ould put down things like babysitting and paper rounds, dog walking and lawn mowing, anything where you can show that you were in a position of trust and completed the task successfully and reliably over a period of time, and people were willing to pay you for it.
