Nope I haven't heard the album yet, I've heard his single but didn't really like it to be honest. It was just a pop song with a bit of shouting and headbanging.

He's being called the saviour of rock for some reason but until I hear the album I won't be able to decide that for myself.

If you want some goood music go buy any of The Offspring stuff <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">

I haven't heard of it, but it sounds about right. I really dislike the song, it's way too gimmicky, and I think it sounds very bland as well. Maybe I'd consider giving the album a listen, but like demonkid said, he is definatly not the saviour of rock. His song is anything BUT rock..

Every body is entitled to their own opinion, and heres mine; all this nu-metal pop punk is bullshit. All good guitar rock is dead.

Andrew WK is a knob-head, just because its loud doesn't make it good. One hit wonder anybody? I'll be seeing Andrew WK in panto next Christmas or I'll eat my Hendrix cd's. Having a nose-bleed wasn't cool when I was six, nor is it now. Wheres the crafting to Party Hard? It's just a riff with a dick-head jumping around.

Bring back At The Drive In, Smashing Pumpkins and Rage Against The Machine. These bands showed how rock music should be, clever and fucking ear blistering. All this Sum 41, Blink 182, Linkin Park and Andrew WK stuff is shouting pop music for fourteen year olds who see the empty commercial bollocks of Westlife. Nothing is worse than Staind, "#...it's been awhile!#" Fuck off and die, I don't want to hear about your pain you millionaire cock-suckers.

The saviour of rock? That would be Muse then. Can't wait for the new Prodigy stuff either.

    "Excellent!" <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/Gif/burns.gif">

I'm assuming you have heard the album if you are making accusations like that. I think Andrew WK is here to stay. Yes his album is a little pop/rockish but there are some pretty catchy songs ie party hard.

On the downside to his album...his lyrics are shite!!!!

I do agree with you when you say staind and Sum 41 are shite but Linkin Park are just amazing!

I don't like nu-metal generally; occasional songs I can sometimes tolerate and even ::gasp:: like a little bit. I quite like Stain'd - It's Been A While and Linkin Park - In The End actually, but they are getting a bit overplayed.

Andrew WK on the other hand... I had the misfortune to hear his new single the other day, and I wish I hadn't. There's already enough crappy nu-metal bands/artists around as it is, we don't need any more.

    Hahahaha......ha! Iron Maiden? Hahahahahaha!

Muse- making origional good rock music popular, hence saving the genre. Simple. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

Yeah, all of them, and all the singles. Got quite a lot of the rare live tracks and 7" vinyls etc. Probably my favourite band ever, I think.
