Sci-Fi Experts - does this movie ring a bell?

years ago I saw a movie about an Astronaut that whilst out on a Spacewalk gets exposed to some kinda radiation that makes him super smart when he's exposed to sunlight and his eyes change colour as he gets more sun .. does this ring a bell .. can't remember who was in it or what it was called - most likely was a TV Movie as well.
He can do things like key in millions of combinations on a combination lock faster then a computer, etc?
