Hi don't know if anyone here is a fedder fan but Jon Lee the Drummer has killed himself!
Possibly hung himself.
It's a shame cos they were just making it big but I guess he was unhappy?

I know someone who had a relationship with him about 9 years ago and can't get hold of them so I'm a bit worried, anyway I guess some of you may want to leave a tribute to him and the other two band members.

yup its definately true. He didn't seem unhappy to me but he was probably just hiding it.

I think he was found floating in his pool in miami. Could have possibly been a murder then if this is the case?

Actually, sorry I was fed misinformation. The real story is:

MIAMI - Jon Lee, the drummer for the Welsh rock band Feeder, which had a hit in England last year with the single ``Buck Rogers,'' killed himself in his home, officials said. He was 33.

Lee, who was from Newport, Wales, hanged himself in his Miami home on Monday, said Veronica Lamar of the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Office.

Fellow band members Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose gave a short statement on the band's official Web site: ``We will miss you more than melody - friends always.''

Hope he finds the peace in death he couldn't find in life

Anybody else seen "From Dusk 'Til Dawn"? Hmm, anyway...

What a coward! He has a child, and a family. Thats who I feel sorry for, how will they cope with this? Perhaps great loads of money, fans, and a home in Florida and being paid to be in a rock band whilst seeing the world are just too depressing?

I can agree with that sentiment. I am a big Feeder fan and was sad at his death, but that doesn't stop me from seeing what a totally selfish act this really is. At what point did he consider his wife and kids, what message does this send them - that he didn't love them enough to be there for them??

Lol, okay so I swiped it but I thought it was apt, because he was obviously troubled with issues plaguing him and he thought the only way to escape it was to commit suicide.

I do feel sorry for his family and I wonder why he couldn't turn to them to help him through it.

Ironic how its the ghost of kurt cobain talking about a musicsion's suicide <IMG alt="image" SRC="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

(why can't i spell musicison aaahh)
