Gynocology

I really want to be a gynocologist, I havent a clue where to start and it will prob take me years and as i am 21 now do you think am getting to old too x Does anyone know where i can get some more information on this x

    Gynaecologists are specialist doctors, so the way you become one is to go to medical school, qualify as a doctor and then take training posts to specialise in gynaecology.

    If you already have a degree then you can do a graduate medicine course, if not you do the full medical course, which usually takes 6 years. Getting onto medical courses is very competitive and usually wants high grades in science A levels, or another demonstration that you've got the skills to cope with the course.

    If it's sounding less appealing then you could look for associated jobs, midwifery or nursing with a speciality.
