There are quite a few of these 'Chilled Ibiza' type albums and I'm looking to buy one...

Can anyone make any recommendations? They all look the same to me and I'm not too good at recognising the names of songs...

Someone with a similar passion as mine <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

Chillout Albums, a breakdown... personally I'd ignore this 'ibiza' title, thats there for sales purposes only so we'll just take the 'chillout' title and look from there.

The best chillout albums I've heard and own recently are:

Ministry Chillout Session 2 - Basically this is probably the best I've got, this definition of chillout falls as dance music, its very chilled and all slow 'sunset' mixes, its excellent and I definatly recommend it. Both CDs are fantastic and some of the best tracks on it in my view are:

* Underworld - Jumbo
* Dido - Here With Me
* Kinobe - Slip Into Something More Comfortable

Ministry Ibiza Chillout Session - Similar to the above but with more of a sunset feel, I've been using this nightly recently to go to sleep with, its amazing! The first several tracks on CD 1 are great and the last 5 tracks or so on CD 2 are fab... thats my opinion anyway, best tracks include:

* A Man Called Adam - Easter Song
* Rodger Sanchez - Another Chance
* Groove Armada - At The River

The Classic Chillout Album - Like the name says, more classic than dance but dance does appear frequently, this is another brilliant album thats not just cashing in on the recently trend, its very ambient and worth getting. You'll recognise loads of the tunes on their, many of them oldies but still great and a pleasure to listen to.
