Any idea's plz ???

Hiya.

I'm taking part in a cross-community project involving 2 schools from different sections of the community taking suppiles out to the third world.

I was wondering if anyone had nay ideas for fund-raising as i really want to raise as much as possible. Im already organising a disco and a raffle but wuz looking for some more unusual ideas ?? oh we're also doing the weakest link so that shud b gud <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">

oh no i realised that doesn't work. go to 'get involved' and then click 'fundraising ideas' on the left.

Depending on what type of 'supplies' you are planning to take out there, you can get companies to sponsor you e.g. if it was food you could try Sainsburys or a local food producer. If it was clothes etc. then ask someone like M&S for their factory 'seconds' or unsaleable returns.

ps You can also get local radio stations to advertise exactly what it is you need so that members of the public can donate individual items too.

How old are the people in your group? If you are all old enough if you can find an outdoor center to sponsor you, you can do sponsored events. Some good examples are Abseils, mountain races etc, get in the local papers a while before you do it and you can get loads of sponsorship ££££ <IMG alt="image" SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0">
