I'm moving to Austalia for the forseeable future. What do I have to do?!

I need to renew my passport anyway, and get in touch with the student loans people, but do I need to tell the tax people or anything? I've never really worked in this country anyway, but I want to cover all my bases.

Any ideas?

    I wouldnt tell the students loan company. Fuck 'em, let them chase if they are that bothered.

    Don't you have an emigration officer who can tell you this stuff?
