probably shouldn't be in here but i'm not sure where it would be best...

i haven't got tickets, but seeing as i'm local, i'm going to try and get a look tomorrow...

anyone else going?

    I would have BUT I'm off to another event that day outside of London.

    But to be honest it's a lot more impressive on TV then it is in the flesh.

    When you see it on TV you have zoomed in shots of the plane, the cockpit, etc

    In real life you're far from the action - went to it 2 years ago so have some experience of the event.

    i was going to go to thames barrier park to see it, but we quickly discovered yesterday that you could only see from their stands, and tickets were stupidly and obscenly priced...so i sat at home and listened to them instead...and then watched on tv
