All I need to do is write an introduction to a paper I've wrote. 2 paragraphs at most. The rest is done, has been for a while. Its even been revised and all that jazz. But I just can't write an intro. And usually they are the easiest, first things I do, but I'm just suffering here. Does anybody have any tips to get over this pain in the ass bump?

I've tried the brainstorming and thinking and free thought writing things and its just not helping.

i always write my introductions last 'cos at that point i've already got everything together to be able to tell the reader exactly what to expect, likewise i always do abstracts last.
look at what you've got - thats the basis... then remind yourself you'll be screwed if you don't get it completed - thats the motivator... :)
