Ever fancied working as a freelancer?

Here's a typical day in the loaf of one: http://ned.thesite.org.uk/careers/job/a_freelancers_day.html

I would like to work as a freelancer but how do you go about it and do you have to register as a business?

I have freelanced and setup my own business bank account and payed NI contributions and income tax that way.

Some people that contract setup their own limited company to do this, but I guess its only necessary if u r doing long term contracts. This is to lessen risks to themselves.

Freelancing has its pros and cons, in my own case, probably more cons. But it's not like that for everyone.

I was limited to working remotely because of having to stay at home with my daughter.

    Good luck!
