Stains in delicate fabrics

I need to get tea stains out of a crotchet tablecloth and a delicate tablecloth made of a flimsy material (poss cotton). They are too delicate to put in the washer, any ideas of what to use to get the stains out without damaging?

    Stain Devil's are usually reasonable, but read the instruction first in light of delicate nature.

    use bleach if it is bleachable (not if it's a coloured item), otherwise use vanish oxiaction stain removing stick and soak for 2 hours and then hand wash...

    try putting it on the washing line on a sunny day with the stain facing the sun.

    I have got rid of countless stains that way. The sun is really effective at bleaching stuff.

    Even in front of a sunny window might work but im not sure.
