ASDA

im just in the process of applying for ASDA, which is currently being built near ish my house. (theres already a somerfield and a safeway, we're only an ickle town!).. but anyway i wondered if anyone here works for ASDA or knows someone who does, and what its like, the type of wage, conditions, etc?? id just be doing the min hours while im in school and then a fair bit more after june when i have 3 months off before i go to uni! gotta get some money somehow..

another thing.. does anyone know whether there is an ASDA close ish to cardiff, southampton or bath universities???? dont worry, im not gonna choose my uni on how close ASDA is, just curious!!

If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

Without wanting to sound like some kind of ASDA expert...there are a couple of stores in Cardiff-the one thats probably easiest to get to from the uni is in cardiff bay. But as for the rest of the stuff, sorry i don't know anything about working there, but good luck with the job. I'm looking at the moment too-any suggestions from anyone for a good saturday job type thing?

    xx

Theres an ASDA in Southampton city centre , it's not particularly far from the uni but you'd probably have 2 go by bus.

a friend of mine works for the ASDA in Barnsley and hates it i'm afraid! but then he works there full time so he gets reallt bored. i think he gets paid about £4.30 an hour coz he's over 18. another friend worked for tesco after school each day and got paid £3.27 an hour; not good!!!

i'm not denying that women are stupid; God made us to match the men.

in the like dairy sections.there's chickens over the egg thing that cluck. and somewhere around the milk there's a moooooooing cow. however, at our branch of asda, they mysteriously quit working sometimes, and its just a coincidence that theyre near the employee area

lol, your nan sounds cool ickle!

i wouldnt know about the noisy things then, our nearest asda is 10 miles away and i havent been there for years! ours is only just being built so i havent been in there either. i was informed yesterday that all these people who are really nasty to me are applying, argh! just when i thought i could be free of them during the holidays after i leave school!! typical
