I don't think it is right that a 16/17 year old should be paid less for doing the same job as an over 18! Why should the pay be different if I do the same work (if not more) as an over 18? I think this is something the government should sort out!!!

It's probably just the law. Something to do with the minimum wage?

LOL experience in stacking shelves? Not exactly brain surgery. I can understand what your saying but should that apply to a job stacking shelves? I've been working for booker for 2 years and the new starters that are 18 who do nothing and have no experience are on more than me
In that case, equal pay for an equal job, maybe you have a campaign here

I get more sometimes depending on if I do a night shift.
I'm 17 and get paid £3.29 an hour for working in a cash & carry! It's an exhausting job too!!!! Especially if your on beers, catering or softdrinks!!! My wage goes up to about £4.20 when I'm 18.
Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up
I work for a games company and of all the people I know - they are salaried too. Thats the nature of the industry though isnt it..I would have thought that you would be doing more work now then you did at the beginning..what languages do you programme in?
