I hate being 15

Isn't being 15 awful?!! I went to get a Saturday job today, only stacking shelves but the woman told me when i wanted an application form that she didn't employ - 'School Children!!' She should have just said no but noooo the condescending old cow added that. I flipped my lid - this has happened before. i have my national isurance card so i shouted at the top of voice so "im old enough to pay tax but not to get a job from snotty people like yourself?!! Somewhere Tony Blair has failed us!" Anyone else had any similar expierances?

    I've had that. I've been for jobs and some of them say in a really snooty voice, thinking they're clever "You have to be 16". I'm 17 but I look younger. How can they tell how old you are anyway? What if you had been over 16, like me?
    I think its funny when they do that to me cos they have to apologise when I tell them.
    You can't actually work until you are 16, even though you do have your national insurance card. Its for insurance reasons. You're right though, she was being snotty.

    I haven't been able 2 get a job either. I'm so sad that nobody wants me. lol

    i waitress at this local pub/resteraunt near me, ask in opne near you if they need a waiter/ess or a washer up person, or a local hairdresser/fitness club theres loads of things to choose from go4it <IMG alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">
