ok, i have a couple problems. a couple of my friends (3) do drugs (pot, speed, & e, mostly). I want to do them also, just to experience it. I really want to... but i'm kinda nervous about the effects. Should i try it? Could someone please inform me of things that could go wrong and how likely it all is.
#2 2 of my best friends drink, but nothing else, no drugs or anything, and they would kill me if they ever found out i did anything like that. They already hate my 3 friends that do. I know it's not worth losing a friendship over, but it's something i want to do. What should i do???

hmmm, i would say go ahead and do it anyway, its not your friends life and if its something you wanna try, do it, if only once. if youre really that concerned, look up the risks and show them to your friends who dont approve, becasue those drugs arent really harmful (maybe in an OD situation)

you know, everyone experiments with drugs when they are young, just to try it right? not necessarily. i've known people who've done heavy drugs, recreational drugs and no drugs at all. myself, i'm in the later category. never have actually. and i've never been harassed or hated by any of my friends.

i'm not preaching to anyone cause you have to make ur own choices as to how you want to live your life, but i wanted to let you know that its okay not to do them all. my reason has always been pretty straight forward... i really fear losing control of myself. no high is worth that because who knows what you can do when ur not in control?

and probably 99% of the time, if you use a drug it will have no permanent effects on you, but do you really want to take a chance on that 1%, where u get some bad drugs or you react to something badly?

talk to spirit around here if you can.. she's recovering from the effects of extascy abuse. it's not fun.

but if you're going to do this.. make sure you're in a safe enviroment with people u trust. at least that minimizes your risk.

When I was a nipper I was dead against smoking and drugs and the only thing I agreed with was getting pissed. As I got older most of my mates were doing all sorts of stuff mainly pot, pills and wizz. When I decided I was going to try out some of these thing I was about 14. I didn't do it because my mates blagged me into it, but because I made up my mind that the risk was worth taking. After hanging about with them so long, watching them cane drugs and going out raving with 'em ,I came to the conclusion that the risks were very small.
Out of all the things I've taken, my first fag was thing I regret most.
All the drugs you've listed in my opinion are (if not abused) quite safe. Wizz can be a bit nasty though - it's quite a dirty drug.
As for your freinds who are dead against drugs thats fair enough, that can be their choice but if you've made an educated choice to consume drugs at a recreational level than they can't say a thing. It's fair enough having your own opinion as long as you don't try and impose it on someone else. People who try and get people to do drugs are slated but people who try and stop people doing drugs arn't that much different. Especially if they'd behave like you mates would.

Whatever you choose make sure it's right for you not other people.
