I have only recently learned (fairly late in my life, and only due to my other half, who is many times more Yo'kshir than me) that baht'at means 'without a hat'.

    Suddenly it all makes sense!

    The £10m Flood

Apparently the floods in Sheffield have caused almost £10m worth of improvements...

Anyone knows exactly which areas of Sheffield have been damaged? Haven't been able to find anything specific. Argh

Fair to say a lot. Rotherham, Chapeltown, Brightside and Catcliffe were the worst I think. The station and the area around it were also under serious water.

Maybe the Sheffield Star (http://www.thestar.co.uk) could be of help?

Have a look at the sheffield forum. It's a mine of information and there is currently a separate forum about the flood :)
