Whats with the macfanboyism this morning at 4am? :p (the time you posted may be a clue..)

I promise you, I'll buy one, when I win the lottery and can afford one :p

I definitely will, if I get a laptop. However right now I have neither the need nor the money for one.

Bear in mind on a mac:
    - if it goes wrong you need to take it back to the shop who take all your money because design flaws in the powerbook aren't covered by the warranty
    - if you want to play a game, or run a specific program (like programs for your mobile phone or external devices) then you'll be out of luck
    - if you want to upgrade, again, its going to be costly.

But I do like Macs, in principle. The principle being everything is designed to work together by the same people so what can go wrong? But as with those laptops and exploding batteries, unfortunately sometimes things do go wrong, and Apple didn't recall theirs unlike Sony and whoever else it was.

Tbh i probably should learn how to use a mac properly because as a graphicky person i know macs are far superior to work on. i have neither the time nor money to aqquire such skills however.

    I'd buy a mac if I didn't think it'd turn me into a smug prick. :p

You don't have to use windows if you have a pc. Dislike windows if you want, but don't dare to think that PC=Windows.

In other news, he're how to simulate the Mac Experience with a real computer:
    1) Install Vista first off. I suggest 64 bit, just to make less stuff compatible.
    2) When you want to use a bit of software, instead of getting it, spend ages searching for a free alternative. I suggest using a Dice to roll on each one you find as to wether or not you use it. 3 and 6 are yes.
    3) Stick a picture of an apple over the windows key.
    4) Go about boasting how your PC doesn't crash alot. Because you can't run anything that might crash, as it isn't compatible.
    5) Get owned because Mac finally are using good processors. WOO INTEL!

Or, just install Linux, and be hardcore.

I used to use a mac at work and hated it.

I was brought up on pc's and windows. Its going to take a big drop in price from Apple in order to tempt me. :thumb:

However if Apple would like to send me a complimenary one to my address, I will happily sing the vertues of a mac. :D
