Just got my k800i - video question

I just converted a .avi to .mp4 but the phone seems to think it's an mp3?

    Ok it seems it seems it does play them.


    Also when I add a contact and save it I get a message saying there is not enough memory left on the SIM card? I have a few vids but got loads of memory left?

    You shoulden't be saving contacts to the sim card, you should be saving them onto the phone's memory.

    The sim card has limited space for contacts, but the phone memory has unlimited.

    Menu > Contacts > Options > Advanced > Default Contacts > Phone Contacts

    Should do it. make sure you copy the sim contacts to the phone too.

    (The only downside to this is, if you break your phone you can rarely get your contacts back, but you may want to sync your phonebook with your PC every now and again)

    Cheers Noog and I forgot to say, whenever I try and transfer files from my phone to the laptop it tells me that its had to abort the transfer because the connection was lost? I am using the USB cable and its fine when I tranfers from laptop to phone.

    not really sure, just use bluetooth if you've got it :)
